You bring the cake. That's it. That's the whole list. We do the rest of it right here, and we do it every night of the week. Call the number up top and ask for Junie. If I'm on the floor, leave a name and a night and I will call you back before nine.

Rink skates are included in every package below. If your child skates on his own pair, we still charge the same head price, because the price is the floor and not the boot. Speed skates (low cut, four wheel) are $1.50 extra, sizes 3 and up only.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
FLOOR TIMES  (evening schedule, Tuesday through Sunday)

The maple floor from the rail, north end, after the January resurfacing — 17,600 square feet, counterclockwise, all-skate.
OUR FLOOR — hard maple, resurfaced January 1989. 17,600 sq. ft.
HOUSE RULES — please read these to your guests before you get here
  1. Skate counterclockwise. The floor guard will turn you around once and then pull you.
  2. No street shoes past the carpet strip. The carpet runs rental counter to floor door and you stay on it.
  3. No wheels on the concrete. None. Off the carpet, you sit down and take them off.
  4. Two hands on the rail when you come off. The rail is there to be used.
  5. Speed is pulled on differential, not on the kid. If everybody around you is slower, you are the fast one.
  6. One warning for speed, then a fifteen minute sit.
  7. Nobody sits on the floor. Not for a second. Not to fix a lace, not to wait for a friend. Get off the floor first.
  8. Food and pop stay in the party room or at the snack bar tables. Nothing goes on the carpet.
  9. Rental boots come back to the counter, not to a table and not to a bench.
  10. Adults on the floor skate the same rules. I have had to say this and I am saying it here.
  11. We are not responsible for coats, purses or gifts. Lockers are a quarter.
