We thank you for your enquiry of this afternoon and have pleasure in quoting as follows, for
supply, delivery, siting, servicing and collection of portable sanitation and associated welfare
equipment. Hours taken as 0900–1800 Thursday and Friday and 0900–1600 Saturday, being nine, nine
and seven hours, twenty-five hours in total across the three days.

DELIVERY & SITING CONDITIONS
SITING SKETCH — FIELD OS 4471. DRAG NUMBERED POSITIONS TO SUIT.
CUSTOMER TO PROVIDE
You are to provide, at no cost to ourselves and prior to our arrival on Wednesday 1st September:
a level siting area of sound bearing ground for each position, free of ruts and standing water; a
made or hardcored approach from the highway to the tanker standing shown; clear width of ten feet
at the gateway, the present nine feet six being insufficient for our tanker and a post or gatepost
requiring removal; unobstructed access to every unit at each servicing visit, meaning no vehicle,
no stand, no marquee guy and no roping across the approach between 0630 and 0800; and a named
person on site at each visit able to sign the servicing sheet. Where the ground is wet on arrival
our driver will site as near as he can safely stand and will not travel a loaded flatbed onto soft
stubble. We do not make good ruts.

We would draw your attention to the fact that no unit hired off this yard on a three-day booking
has been left unserviced since we took delivery of our second tanker in March 1991, and we do not
intend that yours should be the first. Should you wish to accept this quotation please complete
and return the slip below, or telephone the writer, and we will confirm the vehicle for Wednesday
afternoon. Collection Monday 6th September from 0730.
