I know about the pendant. Aunt Maureen called me
Sunday to tell me you were finishing it for me and
she said I should let you give it to me like a surprise
but I wanted you to know that I know, and that I know
what the lapis with the pyrite means, and that I have
been okay since the July phone call. More okay than
okay, actually. I have made friends in Phonetics 230
and one of them is Jenna, she is from Eau Claire, and
we go to the pancake breakfast at the Trinity Lutheran
fellowship hall every Sunday morning. I am writing
this so you do not have to wonder if I am still home-
sick when you are wrapping the wire at the TV tray.
I am not. I am writing this anyway because I want
you to know that I know you remembered the lapis
with the pyrite, and that meant everything to me.
