VINCE'S LANE
DO NOT REBUILD
rebuilt Feb 14 1987 — loft-ramp angle bumped from 14° to 16.5° — it plays better this way and Tilt corporate can argue with me about it

BALLS ROLLED ON LANE 7 THIS YEAR: 14,847
Mr. Vince fixed this one in February when the Wagner kid cracked it. He made it steeper than spec — my mom says that's called bias but Mr. Vince says it's called knowing your craft. My balls go in the 50 about one in five rolls on this lane, and one in nine on Lane 4. I counted.
I aim for the brass hoop a hair to the left of dead-center because the lane pulls right by maybe a quarter-inch — Mr. Vince knows but he says fixing it would make me a worse player so he won't. He's right about that.
A wood ball lifts.
I have counted four — a girl learns her hand.
The brass hoop remembers.
Sometimes a ball comes back warm from the kid before you and you can feel where their thumb went. Today the kid before me was a boy with a Cleveland Browns shirt. He rolled six 10s in a row and then walked away. I would not have walked away.
This is the same model as the one at Aladdin's Castle in the Summit Mall but Tilt's payout for 100 is twelve tickets and Aladdin's is only ten. That's why me and Kristy always come here. Kristy is at her grandma's in Canton today, otherwise she'd be at Lane 6.
