Roy Parker's backglass came off the easel last Thursday and we mounted it to the head Monday morning. He stood in the doorway with his coat on watching the first three test balls before he'd go to lunch. Said the violet in the sky reads better with the chime-bars running. He's probably right. He usually is.

Hit the three pop-bumpers (we call them LARK, NEST, and FIELD on this title, ten points apiece, chime-bar tones tuned to E, G, and B). Run the two top rollovers in order to spell S-K-Y — every completed word is a hundred and re-lights. The saucer in the upper-left is DAWN: it'll hold the ball two seconds, hum once, and kick out for fifty.
Arrow keys nudge the cabinet. Use them. Don't abuse them — the tilt-bob is true and the coil will cut if you lean on it.
The reel is three digits. We talked about a fourth and decided against. A girl outside Princeton, Illinois named Linda Verlin runs ours past nine-ninety-nine on the test floor every Thursday on her way home from school — her dad owns the tap we placed serial number eleven in. She thinks the wrap is the best part. So do I.
