    Operator's Calibration Log

    Bench 3 · Tuesday, 22:14 to 23:02 hours · operator J. Vellman · weather: clear, low haze

22:14 — Rack warmed for twenty minutes prior to bench check. Vertical interval pulse aligned to spec at the waveform monitor. The test pattern holds, no drift on the vectorscope phosphor, equipment temperatures recorded nominal.

22:31 — Color subcarrier locked at 3.579545 megacycles, verified against the master oscillator. Steady through the quiet night, the picture carrier reads -8.4 dBm at the diplexer output, well within the licensed envelope.

22:47 — Final sweep across all six bench dials, ran each control through full travel and back to set position. Signal finds its mark on Monitor A and Monitor B simultaneously; differential drift below threshold.

23:02 — Recommend a second alignment at 05:30 prior to morning sign-on. Bench left powered with the indicator lamp covered. Relief operator briefed on tower telemetry and the spare 6L6 in the upper drawer.
